Christina Mroz, M-HYI - Director of Administration and Program Development

Christina Mroz started practicing yoga due to lower back and hip pain over 9 years ago. Shortly after practicing yoga, she decided to become an instructor. Now as a Masters Instructor with Holy Yoga she is excited to bring her knowledge of working with specialty groups such as pre/post natal, kids, baby, and senior/chair yoga to the Holy Yoga Community. She is also a certified Pilates and senior exercise instructor. Her passion in life is to inspire people to live a life of health in mind, body, and soul through Christ Jesus. She loves how Holy Yoga has become a spiritual connection and act of worship for her and others. Megan Burns, M-HYI - Director of Retreats and Conferences
Megan initially started doing yoga consistently to get in better shape and deal with stress in college. She fell in love with the physical and mental benefits of yoga and knew she wanted to become an instructor. After looking into several programs, she couldn't seem to find a program that was a good fit. Something always seemed to be missing. Holy Yoga was introduced to her through a friend who had gone through the instructor training program. After taking a class she fell even deeper in love with yoga, experiencing it in an entirely new way. The integration of her love of the LORD was what had been missing in the other programs. Her time on her yoga mat is her time with the LORD. Holy Yoga helps her to feel so connected and so renewed. It gives her the opportunity to be intimate with her creator, honoring HIM not only with her heart and soul, but also her mind and her strength. Holy Yoga is the combination of two aspects of her life that are very important to her- her faith and her health- and she feels beyond blessed and privileged to be able to share this gift with others. Megan is also very passionate about nutritional health. She is priveleged to have a home-based business with USANA Health Sciences to help educate people in this area. JoAnn Bemoras, M-HYI - Director of Communications
Jo Ann credits Holy Yoga with transforming her life. A veteran television anchor and reporter, Jo Ann covered national and local events that often pulled at viewer's heart strings and strained her own. In need of a physical, emotional and spiritual re-awakening she walked away from television news and "stumbled" into a Holy Yoga class having no idea what it was. By the end of the week, she had committed to teacher training. "Holy Yoga has deepened my personal relationship with God to a level I can't explain, but freely experience" says Jo Ann who was certified as a Holy Yoga instructor in July, 2007. She loves being used by God to further His peace and thrives on the intricate connection of mind, body and spirit that Holy Yoga utilizes to enhance a personal relationship with Christ. In 2010 Jo Ann moved to Phoenix and is now the Holy Yoga Communications Director, having the privilege of sharing her passion with those interested in exploring the opportunity of serving Jesus through the Holy Yoga Ministry. Alisa Keeton, M-HYI - Instructor Trainer
Being a fitness fanatic started off early in my life. By the age of 13 nothing felt better than a good sweat. Until Christ entered my life. Growing up in a family that loved the Lord was a blessing, but truly accepting the faith for my own in 1998 changed me forever. Everything was better when Christ was in the mix. I began teaching group exercise in 1992. Back when step aerobics was all the rage. I quickly became A.C.E certified in both group fitness and personal training. After receiving a Bachelors in Education from Arizona State University I went on to fulfill my calling in the fitness industry.
Over the years I have taught various forms of group fitness and trained many of clients along the way. As rewarding as my career in fitness was, I continued to have this same conversation with the Lord. "Lord, I know you love me and I love you. You have given me this desire to help people who want to improve their quality of life through improving their health, but how can I do this and better serve your kingdom?" For years it seemed as if I was only experiencing 99% fulfillment. Then entered Holy Yoga. My first experience in Holy Yoga brought me to tears, but in a good way! I knew immediately that this vehicle put before me was my ride to 100% fulfillment in my life's work. I am excited to see what the future holds as I keep my eyes on Christ.

Dawn Ruthledge, M-HYI - Instructor Trainer
Dawn Rutledge, Founder of The Living Well Retreats, is a Certified Holy Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor and Am I Hungry? Facilitator. Dawn's passion is to weave her love of fitness together with her passion for helping others achieve better physical, mental, and spiritual health through yoga and other forms of exercise. Dawn was led to Holy Yoga as a student and found it to be so compelling and rewarding that she decided to deepen her understanding and commitment through the teacher instructor program. She soon realized that she had been called to teach others and share the amazing gift she had been given. "When I first started to practice 'traditional' yoga, the spiritual connection was for me. I was turned off by the mysticism and chanting, and I felt disconnected from God and my body while on my mat. When I was introduced to Holy Yoga, I found exactly what had been missing. I couldn't get enough of it. As a result, I decided to go through Holy Yoga Instructor Training to deepen my understanding of yoga and my connection to Christ - without any plans to actually teach it. Near the end of my training, I was called to teach and have been teaching ever since. I fall more in love with yoga and Christ every time I'm on my mat, whether I'm practicing or teaching. It is an amazing gift to be able to dedicate our bodies to worship and experience His beauty and grace on our mat. I am truly blessed to be able to share this with others."

Stephanie Moors, M-HYI - Spiritual Development
I am a big believer in community. I have been so rocked by the beautiful love of Jesus spilling out of the Kingdom of God. This is a big part of why I love Holy Yoga. There is so much joy in being in a room full of people all breathing, moving, and worshiping with the same intention. Jesus. 100 percent Jesus. It is my absolute joy to teach Holy Yoga. It is an even greater joy to be taught in Holy Yoga. I have watched freedom unfold in the most tightly wound people through the journey of their practice. I have also been one of the many to weep on my mat and to rejoice on my mat. Even my children (4 and 1) love to "practice" Holy Yoga with me. Holy Yoga is a completely unique experience. It is worship and growth. Stillness and movement. Rooting down and upward lifting. It is life being lived and enjoyed. It is possibly a place of a little struggling, yet also a place of encounter.

Rachel Glowacki, M-HYI - Instructor Trainer
Rachel Glowacki has been serving and teaching Holy Yoga since 2008. She has practiced yoga for nine years. Rachel's deep devotion (Bhakti), appreciation of yogic philosophy (Sutras) and anatomy of the spirit (Chakras) set her path in motion to educate other instructors that Jesus is our Master teacher.
As a teacher, Rachel recognizes that when we are still enough, we will hear His voice. In that blissful moment, we can listen to the highest vibrational frequency in our bodies, and discover His love and Holy Spirit. For Rachel, Holy Yoga is as natural as brushing her teeth. Once a former aerobic and preschool teacher, she moved toward yoga, organically combining multiple aspects of health and fitness. Rachel believes our physical bodies teach us about our emotional bodies, our inner flexibility, strength and endurance. Characteristics such as patience, balance, humility and self-control aid us through life, relationships and ourselves. While the "yoga bottom" is the well-deserved icing on the cake, the real riches of yoga are found underneath flesh and bone; the human spirit. When we breathe in the essence of the Holy Spirit throughout life's stresses, we transcend our circumstances. We let the Spirit of God in to guard our hearts and minds, through Christ.
Rachel was born and raised in New York and has lived in Florida, Honduras, and now resides for a second time in Charleston, SC. She studied religion/ministry and graduated from Charleston Southern University, a Christian university. Rachel is happy creating a home in sweet Carolina with her supportive husband, Casey, and two spirit-filled boys, Liam (4) and Grey (3). A big fan of the Charleston motto, "Smiling faces and beautiful places," Rachel is honored to be a part of the Holy Yoga family and share yoga through His Word, as a prayerful expression of the mind, body and soul.
