Skylar grew up as an Arizona resident, and graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Global Health, minoring in Biology, Communications, and Religious Studies. She has extensive experience in the non-profit sector; she co-founded a non-profit while in college and has nearly ten years of ministry experience working for local churches. Creatively, Skylar enjoys photography, design (graphic as well as interior), and cooking. As a competitive swimmer for most of her life, her experience with yoga was primarily as occasional cross-training. She was first introduced to Holy Yoga in 2017 when her mom began her initial instructor training. Skylar never would have imagined that God would also bring Holy Yoga into her life, and is already finding it helpful for a previous back injury. She is excited to be part of the Holy Yoga Team as the Creative Content Provider, finding it perfectly combines her creative personality with her passion for health and well-being. Skylar continues to reside in the Phoenix-area with her rescue dog, Nora.
