Instructor:
  • From mountain pose: engage your deep belly, bend both knees, and step your left foot back  3 to 3 ½  feet, keeping the left heel high
  • Bend the right knee to about 90 degrees, keeping it above or behind the ankle, (you may need to wiggle the left foot back a bit)
  • Inhale: lengthen your spine.  Exhale: press the left thigh back
  • Inhale: clasp your hands behind your hips and to the inside of your left leg, press your knuckles toward the floor
  • Exhale: fold forward, allowing your hands to float toward the sky behind you
  • Breathe here for 3-5 breaths
  • Inhale: rise back upright.  Exhale: unclasp your hand and bend both knees
  • Inhale and step the left foot forward, coming back into mountain pose
  • Repeat on other side
