How to Safely Reopen Your Yoga Studio

Divine Transformation

Being a yoga instructor during this COVID-19 pandemic has been hard in many ways. But it has also given us some amazing opportunities to branch out, get creative, lean into each other, and even reach a lot more people thanks to video conferencing and social media streams! It has been a joy and a true honor to watch Holy Yoga instructors rise up to the occasion and not just survive this crisis – but thrive in it!

States are in the process of reopening, and this means that yoga classes may be starting up again. While it is exciting to be able to share Holy Yoga with your students again, your studio or classes will likely look a little different than normal for the time being.

We want to you and your students to practice yoga as safely as possible, so here are some Yoga Alliance® guidelines on Best Practice Recommendations for Yoga Schools, Businesses and Professionals.

Also, if you are experiencing financial hardships due to COVID-19, the Yoga Alliance Foundation Emergency Relief Fund is excepting applications for short-term financial assistance. You can find more information and apply here.

This is new territory for everyone, and it can definitely feel overwhelming. We are here to support you! We also ask that if you have any health or safety-related questions that you reach out to Yoga Alliance directly at 1-888-921-9642 or info@yogaalliance.org.

We pray that you stay healthy!
