Beverly has been a student of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga for over 20 years. In 1999, she received her Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health where she specialized in Health Education and Public Health Program Planning. As a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), she designed and evaluated state-wide wellness programs for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association until just after the birth of her first son. Shortly thereafter, Beverly created and facilitated a one of a kind, family-based, faith formation program for her church and facilitated it for 10 years.
In 2012, Beverly felt called to merge her background in public health education and family ministry to promote holistic wellness and became the first certified Holy Yoga Instructor in Connecticut. Over the next three years, she brought Holy Yoga to several churches in CT and NY with the dream to someday open a Christian Holistic Wellness Yoga studio where people could come, free of judgment or denomination labels to connect with God while getting healthy and whole. That dream became a reality in October 2015.
While Beverly has practiced many different styles of yoga over the years, never has her soul been touched, healed and uplifted as when practicing Holy Yoga. Holy Yoga brings Mark 12:30 to life, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength“. There really is nothing like meeting Jesus on your mat! “The practice of Holy Yoga® has completely transformed my relationship with God and with others”.
Her certifications include: C-HYI Therapy, C-HYI 300, Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-200), Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Thai Yoga Massage Levels 1 & 2, C-HYI 200, Holy Yoga Touch which incorporates massage and touch techniques into Holy Yoga classes; C-HYI Trauma-Sensitive, C-HYI Leadership, C-HYI Weights, C-HYI Yogalates, and C-HYI Yin Levels 1 and 2.
Beverly served as Holy Yoga Foundation’s Regional Director for the Northeast and currently serves as an Instructor Trainer for Holy Yoga Touch Certification and Holy Yoga 200 hr and 100 hr Instructor Training & Certification programs.
After the birth of her third son in 2004, Jen was tired and overwhelmed. She began practicing yoga in search of solace as well as exercise! The more she practiced yoga, the stronger she was feeling both physically and spiritually. Still, she sought a deeper connection with Christ and wondered if there was anyone else out there practicing Christian yoga. After a Google search, determination, and lots of prayers, Jen stepped out of the boat and received her Holy Yoga certification in the spring of 2012. She went on to receive her Holy Yoga Masters certificate, currently serves on the Instructor Teaching team and is the Southeast Regional Director for the Holy Yoga Foundation.
Without reserve, Jen passionately lives to serve God by connecting the hearts of His people. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband Mark and their three sons.
Carrie is a Yoga Alliance 200 ERYT/YACEP and has been teaching yoga since 2006. She was introduced to Holy Yoga in 2012 and completed her training in 2014. Being a cardio junkie most of her life, for Carrie, the physical benefits of yoga were immediate. It was on her yoga mat that she began to feel fully alive and free, which started to bubble over into her life. Her mat time became her alone time with God, and He started a more profound healing in her heart. Yoga slowly opened her eyes to all that is possible in her life, has deepened her faith in God and has given her the ability to embrace, with grace and gratitude, whatever life may bring her way.
Knowing the positive impact that practicing mindfulness, meditation and breathing have had on her life Carrie welcomes every opportunity to bring the many benefits of yoga to every “body,” no matter what age, gender or level of fitness and continually learns humility from her yoga students. Carrie believes that God led her to Holy Yoga Global to allow her to integrate her two passions, Jesus and yoga.
Carrie graduated with her BA from Pepperdine University and worked in trust banking until becoming a full-time mom. Having a child with special needs catapulted her into unexpected advocacy roles. This new calling on her life revealed her love of people and heart care. Carrie believes that we are all created with a deep desire to be seen, heard, and thoroughly loved Carrie’s passion is coming alongside and encouraging hope. She is honored to use these gifts as a teacher trainer at Holy Yoga Global. She has furthered her education with Holy Yoga Global in the Leadership, Therapy, Masters, and Yin 1/2 programs. She lives and parents together with her husband Marc of 25 years and is a mom to four unique gifts from God.

Emma Johnson has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She went through a 200-hour instructor training with CorePower Yoga in 2005, and upon completion, she couldn’t seem to find her voice, so she put the idea of teaching on hold. It wasn’t until she was introduced to Holy Yoga in 2010 that her practice was transformed. The revelation that she could listen to her favorite worship music, hear God’s truth, and move her body all at the same time was a gift.
She practiced with a local Holy Yoga instructor for many years before she heard God call her to become an instructor herself. She then completed the Holy Yoga 100-hour program in 2017, which was the most moving and empowering experience of her life. She has since completed Leadership Development, Trauma- Sensitive, and is currently working on the Master’s program.
Before coming to Holy Yoga Global as an Enrollment Specialist, she spent over 15 years as a hair stylist and then she tried her hat in finance, pharmaceutical sales, and most recently as an Enrollment Counselor for a local university. She feels it’s an honor, as an Enrollment Specialist for Holy Yoga Global, to hear people’s stories; how God has touched, nurtured, redeemed, healed, spoken to, nudged, and encouraged His children throughout their lives.
Emma lives near Minneapolis, MN with her husband and rescue dog, Bergie.
Jen Moye is wife to an Airman and mom to three rambunctious little boys. With excitement on a daily basis and grace around every corner, she believes we are meant to live this life in community with others and with the mercy to mess up and try again….and again. Being a mom is hard, but it is also a divine calling we can have in this life. She has spent much of her life in ministry with her core passion being that we learn to glorify our God in our marriage, our parenting, and in our everyday lives.
God intersected Holy Yoga with Jen’s life at a time she never expected. She was living with a myriad of health issue and chronic pain, paired with a marriage under attack and young children needing every ounce of her energy. In a time where she felt God telling her to “rest”, Holy Yoga was the vehicle in which He taught her how.
She finished her 200-hour Instructor Training in 2017 and has since completed the Masters, Leadership Development, and Touch trainings with Holy Yoga Global.

Beata started practicing yoga after her son was born in April 1997. Raised as a Catholic she weaved prayer into her practice and grew to love it. Beata continued to practice at home when time allowed. As her family grew she turned to yoga as a time to reflect during difficult times. Her son was diagnosed with Autism shortly after his 3rd birthday. The next few years proved to be difficult with therapy and a new baby but she continued to hold on to her faith and believed deeply in her heart that the Lord has a plan. During a very low point in her life, she stumbled upon a Holy Yoga class at Mountain Park Church in her community. Since that moment Beata knew that this is what the Lord has prepared her for. With his perfect timing, Beata received her Holy Yoga certification and has continued the calling to serve on the Holy Yoga Leadership Team.
She is so honored giving back and being able to teach at the church she first discovered Holy Yoga. Beata is passionate about helping others realize their self-worth, the importance of self- love, and spiritually connecting with God through the mind, body, and soul. Beata believes that helping others and having faith through all circumstances is the key to a joyful life.
Married to her best friend Ted for 25 years and working full-time at Origami Owl as an Executive Assistant to the founders and part-time for Holy Yoga Global as the Events Assistant Beata counts her blessings every day. A Chicago girl at heart, she loves her forever home in Phoenix, Arizona. Beata is so proud of both of her children Joseph and Rozie and looks forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for them.
